This policy covers Pano, a browser based virtual tour builder and hosting service at pano.launchviz.com, operated by LaunchViz (“we”, “us”). It explains the data we hold about visitors to this website and about the people who create an account and use the service to build and publish virtual tours.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, and a password stored as a bcrypt hash (we never store the password itself).
  • Panoramas and media files you upload, stored on Hetzner Object Storage in the EU.
  • Published tour snapshots, served to visitors through our CDN at cdn.launchviz.com.
  • Billing details for paid plans, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Server logs (request metadata such as IP address, timestamp, and user agent), kept for security and troubleshooting.

Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

2. Cookies

The app at pano.launchviz.com uses a small number of strictly necessary, httpOnly cookies. We do not use advertising or cross site tracking cookies.

  • pano_session keeps you logged in (authentication), valid for 30 days.
  • pano_tour_* remembers that you unlocked a password protected tour, valid for 7 days.
  • imp_admin is used only during administrative support sessions, when a member of our team temporarily views your account to help you.

This marketing website sets no cookies of its own.

3. Website analytics

This website uses TrackTrendy, a privacy friendly analytics tool. It counts page visits without cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not follow you across other sites.

4. Email

Transactional email (for example password resets and billing receipts) is sent through Amazon Web Services SES in the eu-west-1 region. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

5. Who we share data with (sub-processors)

  • Hetzner (EU hosting and object storage for your uploads and tours)
  • Cloudflare (CDN, proxy, and security)
  • Amazon Web Services SES (transactional email)
  • Stripe (payment processing for paid plans)

We never sell your data.

6. Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request access, correction, export, or erasure of your account and its data, and you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Deleting your account removes your account together with all of its tours and uploaded files. Invoicing records may be retained where required by tax law.
